Belly dance
Belly dance is considered one of the most ancient types of dance, as its
history begins thousands of years ago in Egypt. Today there is no place on
the planet where this dance is not performed. Belly dancing is a very safe and
very beneficial form of exercise and is therefore suitable for all ages. There
are many different styles in which it is danced. Furthermore, the various
accessories which are used during the dance impress the viewer even with
their minimal use. This specific dance gives us the opportunity to know our
body in detail and teaches us how to use separate parts of our body, but also
in combination during the dance. It hugely benefits the brain function and it
serves as a tool in all other dances as it gives a basic knowledge of the body.
